Deanna Beaver likes adventures.They can be as simple as a walk in the park or traveling to exciting places.
She is an award-winning published author. Her children’s manuscript won First Place in Children’s Picture Book at the Florida Christian Writers Conference 2019. Deanna’s short story ‘God’s Timing, Not Ours’ has been published in the compilation Blessings in Disguise by Living Parables of Central Florida.
She is a veteran teacher of thirty-five years with a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Ed.S. in Leadership. Deanna is currently a field supervisor of beginning teachers with the GATAPP program. Her experience with kindergarten through fifth grade and gifted students gives her firsthand insight into what these students can and need to learn.
Deanna is a member of the Greater Atlanta and Page 36 writing critique groups of Word Weavers International, Serious Writers Club, and Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
Deanna is a mentor to the presidents of four critique chapters in Word Weavers International.
Deanna likes adventures. She enjoys watching sports. She loves to walk outside in nature for exercise and fellowship with God, family, and friends. She adores taking grandchildren, Haley and Elijah on excursions.
