Deanna Beaver likes adventures.They can be as simple as a walk in the park or traveling to exciting places.
She is an award-winning published author. Her children’s manuscript won First Place in Children’s Picture Book at the Florida Christian Writers Conference 2019. Deanna’s short story ‘God’s Timing, Not Ours’ has been published in the compilation Blessings in Disguise by Living Parables of Central Florida.
She is a veteran teacher of thirty-five years holding an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education, an Ed.S. in Leadership, amd a certificationas a gifted educational specialist. Her experience with kindergarten through fifth grade and gifted students gives her firsthand insight into the interest and needs of children in this age group.
Deanna is an active member of the Greater Atlanta and Page 36 writing critique groups of Word Weavers International and Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
Watching sports with family and friends is a favorite pastime of Deanna’s. She enjoys a brisk walk outside in nature for exercise and fellowship with God, family, and friends. You may find her on an excursion with grandchildren, Haley and Elijah. Just saying.
